A family-founded nonprofit honoring Troy Anthony Haynes Jr. through RMC awareness, education, advocacy, and opportunities for young people and families.
Why we began
In January 2020, Troy A. Haynes Sr. and Christina A. Haynes founded the 4Troy Foundation in memory of their son, Troy Anthony Haynes Jr. Troy’s life, courage, and compassion continue to guide the foundation’s work.
We share understandable information about renal medullary carcinoma (RMC) and its connection to sickle cell trait, encourage informed conversations, and bring people together through education and community outreach.
Our mission also includes youth mentoring, scholarships, research, and support for individuals and families impacted by RMC. We are developing sibling grief support to help young people navigate the loss of a brother or sister.
